The Frigidaire PureSource 3TM ice and water filter system is tested and certified to NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53 for the reduction of claims. The installation process is straightforward, with a push-to-lock and release mechanism, but it's always recommended to review the use and care guide before installation.

The filter features a rated capacity of 200 gallons (757 liters) and an indicator light, and the WF3CB length is 9 inches, which is important to note as it differs from the longer filter ultraWF. The operating temperature range is between 33°F and 100°F (0.6°C and 38°C).
